I tried on my CS5 …
I tried on my CS5 before… I love this effect. I did this before in a different way. Simply on the image, Ctrl+U and put saturation to 0. Then take the history brush tool and move over through the place where I want color.

As a graphic …
As a graphic designer AND a photographer, I wish “splash color” or “spot coloring” never existed! It draws the eye to one object instead of the photo as a whole. This photo of Howard’s works and red pops on the B&W; but color wedding bouquets shouldn’t be the focal point in a B&W photo of a bride and groom. God only knows how many beautiful wedding photos I’ve massacred with “spot coloring”
Please, use this idea appropriately. My sanity depends on it.
